Parents' Association

The Mount Scopus College Parents' Association plays a vital role in maintaining channels of communication between parents and the College, and in generally supporting the school. We welcome parent involvement in such areas as events, fundraising, assistance in the class-room, volunteering as a class convenor or in the Scope Shop.

The PA is active at every campus and is represented at the College Executive and Council. We also liaise with Rabbi Kennard to provide the College's Parent Education Program.

In response to the needs of our families, the PA sells second-hand uniform at the Scope shop and runs a second-hand book sale at the end of each year.

Fundraising is an important part of what we do, and the PA organises a number of activities, including the annual Golf Challenge and Summer Brunch. This year we celebrate the inaugral Graduation Ball in November. Funds raised are directed to the purchase of items specifically identified for each campus as well as funding a needs-based scholarship and classroom refurbishments.

The PA also maintains a voluntary Bar/Bat Mitzvah register so that parents can avoid clashes when scheduling their simcha.

For more information on PA activities please read our Information Booklet or contact the College.

I invite you to join us and be a part of making Mount Scopus the best school for our children and for future generations of Jewish children.
