Jewish school students had the opportunity to hear from a range of speakers at the Biennial Jewish Schools Careers Expo last month.
Over 80 different speakers volunteered their time to speak to senior students about their chosen careers and the pathways that lead them to their current occupations.
Students were able to choose from a range of speakers covering careers in graphic design and psychology, to law, veterinary science and TV Production. Social work, engineering, nursing and fashion design were also offered along with pharmacy, town planning, advertising, optometry, event management and teaching amongst many others.
Students found the opportunity to hear from these speakers and to question them on the day-to-day aspects of their work an invaluable aid in their own career planning.
Representatives from the major university were also on hand to provide course information and entry requirements, and recent graduates from the various Jewish school who are now at university gave an insight into life on campus.
